The Mines game is the grid-based instant game crash players love: pick tiles, collect gems, raise the multiplier and cash out before you hit a mine. You choose how many mines are on the board, so you set the risk. Here’s how Mines works, your real odds and why a mines predictor can’t help.

How Mines works

Choose a stake and the number of mines (often 1 to 24 on a 5×5 grid). Click tiles one at a time: each gem increases the multiplier, and you can cash out after any gem. Hit a mine and the round ends.

Mines odds

With 3 mines, your first click is safe 88% of the time (22 of 25). The second click is safe 21 of 24 times, and so on. More mines mean bigger multipliers per gem and fewer safe clicks.

Mines predictor apps are scams

Mine positions are fixed by the server before your first click and hidden behind a hashed seed. No app can see them. “Mines predictor” downloads and bots are guessing at best and malware at worst. Read crash predictor apps debunked.

Pro tip: with 3 mines, cashing out after two gems already pays more than many crash targets.

RTP & odds explained

Your win chance at any target is the RTP divided by the multiplier. Here's how often each target hits over the long run, so you can pick your style: steady low targets or big multipliers.

Win chance at each multiplier at 97% RTP
TargetWin chanceAbout 1 in
1.20x 80.8% 1.24
1.50x 64.7% 1.55
2.00x 48.5% 2.06
5.00x 19.4% 5.15
10.00x 9.70% 10
100x 0.97% 103

Calculated at an illustrative 97% RTP because this game's RTP is not yet verified.

Frequently asked questions

How does the Mines game work?

A grid of tiles hides gems and mines. Each gem you reveal raises the multiplier; hit a mine and the bet is lost. Cash out any time.

Does a Mines predictor work?

No. The mine positions are set by the server before you click and are hidden by a hashed seed. Predictor apps are guessing or stealing accounts.

What is the best Mines strategy?

Use few mines and cash out after a small number of gems for steady wins, or more mines with tiny stakes for big multipliers.

What are the odds in Mines?

With 3 mines on a 25-tile grid, your first click is safe 22 times out of 25 (88%). Each extra click is a little harder.

Is Mines provably fair?

At most crypto casinos, yes. You can check each game with the revealed server seed.
