The 1-3-2-6 betting system presses your winning streaks: bet 1 unit, then 3, then 2, then 6 after consecutive wins at a 2x cash out, and go back to 1 after any loss. A full ladder banks 12 units, and the most you can lose on any one ladder is 2 units. Because stakes only rise after wins, it’s one of the gentlest systems around, and it kept the bust rate low in our 10,000-session test. Here’s how each outcome plays out. Part of our crash game strategy guide.
Every 1-3-2-6 outcome
£5 unit, 2x cash out:
| Ladder ends at | Bets | Net | Chance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Loss on bet 1 | 1 | −£5 | 51.5% |
| Loss on bet 2 | 1, 3 | −£10 | 25.0% |
| Loss on bet 3 | 1, 3, 2 | +£10 | 12.1% |
| Loss on bet 4 | 1, 3, 2, 6 | £0 | 5.9% |
| Full ladder | 1, 3, 2, 6 | +£60 | 5.5% |
The full ladder is the big payoff: £60 from a £5 start.
What 10,000 sessions show
£250 budget, £5 units, 2x, 100 rounds: median £215, best 10% at £375 or more, worst 10% at £70, and 3.6% ran out of money. That’s a wider spread than flat betting (median £230, best 10% £300) with a much bigger top end, at a small cost in bust risk. The average session wagered £973.50.
1-3-2-6 vs other systems
It belongs to the same family as Anti-Martingale, which also raises after wins (median £220, 1% ran dry in our test). Negative progressions like the Martingale strategy raise after losses and busted half of the time. The full table is in the best betting system for crash games.
Tips for the ladder
- Stick to 2x: the payouts above assume even money.
- Don’t extend the ladder: the reset after 6 is what protects your winnings.
- Use a stop-win: three full ladders in a session is a great time to bank.

Frequently asked questions
What is the 1-3-2-6 betting system?
A positive progression: bet 1 unit, then 3 after a win, 2 after another win, and 6 after a third. Any loss, or finishing the ladder, sends you back to 1.
Does 1-3-2-6 work in Aviator?
It works as a fun way to press winning streaks with a 2x cash out. It can’t beat the RTP, but it kept bust risk low in our test (3.6%).
How much does a full 1-3-2-6 ladder win?
12 units at 2x, for example £60 with a £5 unit. Four wins in a row at 2x happen about 5.5% of the time.
What’s the most I can lose in one ladder?
2 units: that happens when you win the first bet and lose the second (3-unit) bet.
Is 1-3-2-6 better than Martingale?
It’s far less risky: it raises stakes after wins, not losses. In our test 3.6% of sessions ran dry versus 50.2% for Martingale.
