The best betting system for crash games depends on the session you want, and our test of nine systems makes the trade-offs crystal clear: flat and proportional betting never ran dry, positive progressions like 1-3-2-6 and Anti-Martingale stayed close behind, and negative progressions busted between a third and four-fifths of sessions. We ran every system 10,000 times at a 2x cash out from $500 with $10 units over 100 rounds. No system changes the 97% RTP; what changes is how much you wager and how the session swings. This is the hub for every system guide in our crash game strategy section.

How to read the table
Median is the typical finish. Ran dry is the share of sessions that couldn’t cover the next base bet. Avg. wagered is the hidden cost: at a 97% RTP, each $ you wager costs about 3 cents on average, so a system that wagers four times more costs about four times more over time, whatever its median says. That’s why Labouchère can show the biggest wins and the worst bust rate at the same time.
Our picks
- Best overall: flat betting. Lowest cost, zero busts, simplest to run.
- Best progression: Anti-Martingale or 1-3-2-6. Bigger upside, tiny bust risk, because stakes rise only after wins.
- Best for “small wins most sessions”: Fibonacci or Oscar’s Grind, if you accept about a one-in-three chance of a wipe-out and cap your stakes.
- Handle with care: Martingale, D’Alembert, Labouchère.
Head-to-heads: Martingale vs Fibonacci and D’Alembert vs Martingale.
Pair your system with the right target
Systems and targets work together. Lower targets smooth any system; see the fixed auto cash out strategy. Sizing rules for every system are in our bankroll management guide.
Test any system
The simulator below starts on flat betting at 2x; pick any system and your own budget. Then take it to Aviator or JetX. In a state without real-money online casinos? See sweepstakes crash games.
Play smart: pick your system before the session, not after a loss. Switching systems mid-session is just chasing with extra steps.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best betting system for crash games?
For steady sessions, flat betting or proportional betting: neither ran dry in our tests. For a positive progression with low risk, 1-3-2-6 or Anti-Martingale.
Which betting system wins the most?
Fibonacci and Oscar’s Grind had the highest medians ($620 and $590), but about a third of their sessions ran dry. Labouchère had the biggest top 10% ($1,750+) and the highest bust rate.
Does any betting system beat the house edge?
No. Every system wagers on the same 97% RTP rounds. Systems change the size and timing of bets, which shapes the session, not the odds.
Why do some systems bust so often?
Negative progressions raise stakes after losses, so a losing streak escalates bets until the budget can’t cover them.
Which system is best for beginners?
Flat betting with auto cash out at 1.5x–2x. It’s simple, predictable and cheapest per round.
Can I test these systems for free?
Yes. The simulator on this page runs every system with your own budget, stake and target.
