The 1.5x strategy means setting auto cash out at 1.5x on every bet: you win about 64.7% of rounds and each win turns R50 into R75. It is the steady sweet spot target in Aviator, JetX and Spaceman at Hollywoodbets, Betway or a partner crypto casino. Below: the real win chance, how long the cold runs get, a 1,000-session simulator test in rand and how to set it up. This is one of the setups in our crash game strategy guide.

How the 1.5x auto cash out strategy works

Set auto cash out at 1.5x and keep the same stake every round. With a 97% RTP the multiplier reaches 1.5x in 64.7% of rounds, so you miss only about one round in 2.8. Each win adds R25 profit on a R50 bet. Wins come often and small, which keeps your balance smooth. Our auto cashout strategy guide compares the targets side by side.

1.5x vs other auto cash out targets

Target Win chance Profit per R50 win Rounds per win
1.1x 88.2% R5 1.1
1.2x 80.8% R10 1.2
1.5x (this one) 64.7% R25 1.5
2x 48.5% R50 2.1
3x 32.3% R100 3.1
5x 19.4% R200 5.2
10x 9.7% R450 10.3
100x 0.97% R4,950 103.1

Lower targets win more often; higher ones pay more per win. For the big end of the table, see crash game 100x odds.

Simulator test: 1.5x over 100 rounds

We ran the 1.5x strategy through our simulator: 1,000 sessions of 100 rounds, a R2,500 bankroll and R50 bets. The median session finished on R2,375, the luckiest 10% on R2,825 or more and the coldest 10% on R1,925 or less. Not one session went bust. That tight spread is why players love low targets for long sessions. Run your own numbers in the simulator below, or practise free in our free crash game.

Cold runs at 1.5x

Every target has losing streaks. At 1.5x the chance of missing:

  • 3 rounds in a row: 4.4%
  • 5 rounds in a row: 0.55%
  • 10 rounds in a row: under 0.01%

Short cold runs are normal and cheap at this target; keep the stake flat and the wins come back. The crash game bankroll management guide shows how to size your bankroll for it.

Best games for the 1.5x strategy

The target works on any crash game with auto cash out. Hollywoodbets Aviator at 97% RTP is the classic choice, JetX South Africa works the same way, and Spaceman South Africa runs at 95% RTP, so every target hits slightly less often there.

Set it up in South Africa

Fund your balance with Ozow instant EFT, 1Voucher or OTT Voucher, open your game, set auto cash out to 1.5x and turn on auto bet if you want hands-free rounds. Our Hollywoodbets Aviator guide shows the buttons step by step. Want to play crash games with big-multiplier crypto originals and fast payouts? Pro tip: at 1.5x, set a win target such as +20% and walk away with it when it lands.
