The best Spaceman strategy is a flat stake with auto cash out at 1.5x–2x, plus smart use of the game’s 50% cash out. Pragmatic Play’s Spaceman lets you bank half your bet mid-flight and let the other half chase a bigger multiplier, which is a built-in safe-plus-risky play. At a 97% benchmark RTP, 2x lands in about 48.5% of rounds. Nothing predicts when the astronaut flies off, so your results come from the target and stake you choose. This guide sits in our crash game strategy hub.

Spaceman win chances

Target Win chance (97% RTP) $10 returns
1.5x 64.7% $15
2x 48.5% $20
5x 19.4% $50
10x 9.7% $100

Spaceman’s exact RTP can vary by casino, so open the game’s info panel. A lower RTP shaves a little off each chance (at 95%, 2x lands 47.5% of the time). Compare any target in the cash out calculator.

Strategy 1: flat bets at 2x

Same stake, auto cash out at 2x, every round. Our 10,000-session test ($500 budget, $10 bets, 100 rounds, 97% RTP) finished at a median $460, with the best 10% at $600 or more and zero busts. It’s the simplest form of the fixed auto cash out strategy.

Strategy 2: the half cash out play

Bet $10. At 1.5x, cash out 50%: you bank $7.50 and $5 stays in. If the astronaut reaches 3x, that half pays $15, so the round returns $22.50. If he flies off after your first cash out, you still got $7.50 back. It plays a lot like Aviator’s two panels; see our dual bet strategy for the maths of splitting stakes.

Keep it fun

Big targets are thrilling but rare: 10x comes about once in ten rounds. Read chasing high multipliers before you go hunting. And skip “Spaceman predictor” apps: our crash predictor apps debunked explains why they can’t work.

Play Spaceman

Pro tip: decide your half-cash-out point before the round starts. Mid-flight decisions are where plans fall apart.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best Spaceman strategy?

Flat bets with auto cash out at 1.5x–2x, using the 50% cash out when you want to lock in a profit and still chase a bigger multiplier.

How does the Spaceman 50% cash out work?

You cash out half your bet at the current multiplier and the other half keeps flying until you cash it out or the round ends.

What are the odds of 2x in Spaceman?

Roughly 0.97 ÷ 2 = 48.5% at a 97% RTP. Check the game’s info panel for its exact RTP at your casino; a lower RTP means a slightly lower chance.

How do you win at Spaceman?

Cash out before the astronaut flies away. Set an auto cash out so you never miss your target.

Do Spaceman predictors work?

No. Each round is random and decided on the game server. Predictor apps and signal groups can’t see it in advance.
