What does bust mean in crash games?

By · Last updated 31 October 2026

Either a round crashing before you cash out (your bet “busts”), or a bankroll falling too low to keep betting. In simulations, the bust rate is the share of sessions that run out of money.

Why it matters

Quick rand example: R50 cashed out at 3x returns R150. Funding a session? Start with Ozow instant EFT.

Bust rate is the hidden cost of progressions that look safe because they win often.

In practice

A single busted bet is routine: at a 2x target, about half of all bets bust. A busted bankroll is different. It’s the end of a session, and it’s the number to watch when comparing strategies in our simulator.

Example

Martingale at 2x busted about half of our 100-round test sessions.
