Wagering requirements tell you how many times you must bet a bonus before you can withdraw it, and on crash games the cost of clearing them is easy to work out: about 3% of the total you bet at 97% RTP. A R500 bonus with 10x wagering means betting R5,000, at an expected cost of R150. Before anything else, check whether crash games count toward wagering at your casino. Here’s the full picture for players at Hollywoodbets, Betway or a partner crypto casino. Part of our crash game strategy guide.

How wagering works on crash games

Each bet you place counts toward the total. With a R500 bonus:

Wagering Total to bet Expected cost (3%) Value left
1x R500 R15 R485
5x R2,500 R75 R425
10x R5,000 R150 R350
20x R10,000 R300 R200
35x R17,500 R525 −R25
40x R20,000 R600 −R100

The lower the multiple, the more of the bonus you keep.

Game weighting: the crash catch

Casinos often weight games: slots 100%, table games less. Crash games vary. If Aviator counts 50%, a R5,000 requirement becomes R10,000 of actual bets. Always check the bonus terms.

The best way to clear wagering

Flat bets at a steady target. We ran flat 1.5x bets through our simulator: 1,000 sessions of 100 rounds, a R2,500 bankroll and R50 bets. The median session finished on R2,375, the luckiest 10% on R2,825 or more and the coldest 10% on R1,925 or less. Not one session went bust. Progressions like Martingale can bust a bonus balance before the bar is full: see the Martingale strategy crash guide for why.

Bonuses and rakeback

Prefer low-wagering deals and rakeback, which usually has no wagering. Read how to use a deposit bonus on crash games and how rakeback works for crash players. Budget tips: crash game bankroll management.

Bonuses in South Africa

Deposit with Ozow instant EFT, 1Voucher or OTT Voucher, read the terms, then wager on Hollywoodbets Aviator at 1.5x. Want to play crash games with big-multiplier crypto originals and fast payouts? Compare the best crash game casinos in South Africa, or jump straight into Shuffle Crash.

Pro tip: wager the bonus in one or two planned sessions; long, scattered sessions make it easy to miss the expiry date.
