To win Space XY more often, use a low auto cash out like 1.5x or 2x. Bet a flat stake of about 2% of your balance ($10 on $500), and set a stop loss and take profit before the first launch. No strategy changes the 97% RTP. Smart settings only change your hit rate, your swings and how long your session lasts.

That’s the core Space XY strategy. Below you’ll find the real hit chance for every target, six setups tested over 5,000 simulated sessions each, and the exact settings to type in. New to the genre? Our guide on how to win crash games covers the rules that apply to every title. The Space XY review and free demo lets you test everything here without risking a cent.

How Space XY works

Space XY is a crash game from BGaming. You place a bet, the ship launches and a multiplier climbs from 1x. Cash out before the flight ends and your stake is multiplied by the number on screen. Wait too long and the bet is gone. That’s the whole game, and it’s why your cash out decision matters more than anything else.

The key numbers:

  • RTP: 97%. Over the long run, the game pays back 97 cents of every dollar wagered. The other 3% is the house edge.
  • Max multiplier: 10,000x. On a $10 bet, a full-distance flight would return $100,000. It’s possible, but very rare.
  • Auto bet: repeats your stake round after round without clicking.
  • Auto cash out: takes your win the moment the multiplier hits your target. No reflexes needed and no panic.
  • Dual bet: two separate bets in the same round, each with its own cash out. This is the feature that sets up the safe bet plus risky bet split.

One thing to understand upfront: the 97% RTP is the same whether you cash out at 1.2x or 100x. Low targets don’t have a better RTP. They just pay off far more often in smaller amounts. Our explainer on crash game RTP and house edge breaks down why that’s true for every crash game.

Our 10-million-round crash study played 13 strategies through the same 10 million rounds: a 1.20x auto cash out almost never went bust (0%), a 10x target finished in profit in 33.6% of sessions, and every approach paid back about 97% of what it wagered.

Space XY win chances by target

With a 97% RTP, the chance of reaching any target is (97 ÷ 100) ÷ target. So the chance of hitting 2x is 0.97 ÷ 2 = 48.50%. Here’s how that plays out on a $10 bet:

Target Hit chance $10 bet returns Risk
1.2x 80.83% $12.00 Low
1.5x 64.67% $15.00 Low
2x 48.50% $20.00 Medium
3x 32.33% $30.00 Medium
5x 19.40% $50.00 High
10x 9.70% $100.00 High
50x 1.94% $500.00 Very high
100x 0.97% $1,000.00 Very high

Read it like this. At 1.2x, you win roughly four rounds in five, but each win is only $2 profit. At 10x, you win less than one round in ten, but each hit pays $90 profit. Higher targets don’t pay better on average. They just deliver the same expected return in fewer, bigger lumps, with longer losing streaks in between.

Best Space XY strategies

Every setup below was simulated with the same rules: a $500 balance, a $10 base bet, 100 rounds per session, 5,000 sessions each and a 97% RTP. The median finish shows a typical session. The worst and best 10% show how wild the swings get. The drawdown is the biggest dip from peak a typical session suffered along the way.

1. The 1.2x grind (calmest ride)

Settings: flat $10 bet, auto cash out 1.2x.

This hits 80.83% of the time. Each win returns $12, so you’re up $2. The catch is that one loss costs $10, which wipes out five wins. Over 100 rounds, the median session finished at $472. The worst 10% ended at $412 or less and the best 10% at $532 or more. None of the sessions ran out of money, and the median max drawdown was only $64.

Use it when: you want a long, relaxed session with the smallest swings in the game.

2. Flat 1.5x (the sweet spot)

Settings: flat $10 bet, auto cash out 1.5x.

You win 64.67% of rounds and collect $15 each time, or $5 profit. The simulation gave a median finish of $475, a worst 10% of $385 or less and a best 10% of $565 or more. No sessions went bust, and the median drawdown was $90. You get noticeably more upside than the 1.2x grind for only a little more swing.

Use it when: you want the best balance of hit rate and win size. It’s our default Space XY strategy.

3. Flat 2x (double or nothing)

Settings: flat $10 bet, auto cash out 2x.

This is close to a coin flip at 48.50%, and every win doubles your $10 to $20. The median finish was $480. The worst 10% ended at $340 or less and the best 10% at $600 or more. There were still zero busted sessions, but the median drawdown grows to $120. See how the three fixed targets stack up in our fixed auto cash out comparison.

Use it when: you can handle streaks of four or five losses without changing your plan.

4. Dual bet: safe 1.5x plus a small 10x shot

Settings: bet one $10 at auto cash out 1.5x and bet two small at auto cash out 10x, for example $2.

This uses Space XY’s dual bet feature. Here’s a worked example with $12 staked per round:

  • Flight ends before 1.5x: both bets lose, and you’re down $12.
  • Flight reaches 1.5x but not 10x: the safe bet returns $15, so you’re up $3.
  • Flight reaches 10x: $15 + $20 = $35 back, so you’re up $23.

The simulation, with a small second bet at 10x, finished at a median of $465. The worst 10% ended at $335 or less and the best 10% at $590 or more. Zero sessions went bust, and the median drawdown was $123. You give up a little median value for a shot at bigger spikes. More on this split in our dual bet strategy guide.

Use it when: steady 1.5x play feels flat and you want an occasional big hit without betting the house on it.

5. Paroli at 2x (press your wins)

Settings: start at $10 with auto cash out 2x. After a win, double the stake. After three wins in a row, or after any loss, reset to $10.

A full run goes $10, then $20, then $40. If that third bet lands, it returns $80. Losses always cost just the base $10 unless you lose while pressing. The median finish was $450, the worst 10% was $200 or less and the best 10% was $710 or more. 1.0% of sessions went bust, and the median drawdown was $230. You get a wider spread than flat 2x, with more upside and a deeper downside. The full breakdown is in our Anti-Martingale (Paroli) guide.

Use it when: you like the idea of risking the casino’s money on hot streaks, and you accept bigger swings.

6. The 10x hunt

Settings: flat $10 bet, auto cash out 10x.

This hits only 9.70% of the time, but each hit returns $100. The median finish was $500. The spread is huge, though. The worst 10% ended at $100 or less, the best 10% at $800 or more, and 8.6% of sessions ran out of money. The median drawdown was $320, which is most of your balance. Read the real odds of chasing high multipliers before you try it.

Use it when: you have a separate fun budget and you’re fine with long dry spells.

Best Space XY settings

Auto cash out

Always use it. Manual clicking invites hesitation, and hesitation turns a planned 1.5x into a greedy wait for 3x that never comes. For most players, 1.5x is the best starting point. Drop to 1.2x for the calmest sessions, or move to 2x if you want bigger wins and can stomach streaks. If you run dual bet, give each bet its own cash out, such as 1.5x and 10x, and don’t touch them mid-session.

Auto bet

Auto bet keeps your stake flat, and flat staking is what kept the simple setups at 0.0% bust. Run it in fixed blocks, for example 25 rounds at a time, then check your balance against your limits. Our auto bet and auto cash out setup guide walks through the panel step by step.

Stake size

Keep each bet at about 2% of your session balance. That’s the $10 on $500 used in every simulation above. At that size, even the 2x setup’s median $120 drawdown is survivable. Bet 10% per round and the same losing streak can end your night. For deeper rules on budgets and limits, see our bankroll management guide.

Pro tip: Set your stop loss and take profit before the first launch, for example quit at $400 or at $600 on a $500 balance. Decisions made mid-streak are almost always worse.

How to play Space XY step by step

  1. Test in the demo. Run your exact settings for a few dozen rounds in free play.
  2. Set your session budget. Pick money you can afford to lose, for example $500.
  3. Choose a flat stake. Use about 2% of your balance, which is $10 on $500.
  4. Set auto cash out. Choose 1.5x for the sweet spot, 1.2x for calm or 2x for bigger wins.
  5. Add an optional second bet. For dual bet, keep it small, for example $2 at 10x.
  6. Set stop loss and take profit. Write them down. Our guide to stop loss and take profit in crash games helps you pick sensible levels.
  7. Run auto bet in short blocks. Use 25 rounds, then review.
  8. Cash out and walk away. When you hit a limit, the session is over. Withdraw your profit.

Mistakes to avoid

Doubling after losses (Martingale)

It feels like a sure thing until it isn’t. Martingale at 2x ran out of money in 49.3% of simulated sessions. The median finish was $220 from $500, with a median drawdown of $540. One normal losing streak forces stakes you can’t cover. See the full test in our Martingale strategy breakdown.

Trusting D’Alembert or Fibonacci

These softer progressions still blow up. D’Alembert at 2x went bust in 47.8% of sessions, with a median finish of $150. Fibonacci’s $620 median looks tempting, but 31.4% of sessions hit zero, and the worst 10% lost everything. A strong median doesn’t help if almost a third of sessions go to $0. Details are in our D’Alembert and Fibonacci test.

Buying predictors, signals or hacks

Any app, bot or Telegram channel that claims to predict Space XY is a scam. It’s there to take your money or your account details. No one can see the next flight. Learn the red flags in predictor apps and signals debunked.

Reading patterns in round history

A run of short flights doesn’t make a long one due. Every round is independent, so the history bar is entertainment, not a signal. Stick to your auto cash out.

Raising your target to win back losses

Jumping from 1.5x to 10x after a bad patch drops your hit chance from 64.67% to 9.70%. It speeds up the very losses you’re trying to recover. Keep your settings and respect your stop loss.

Play the Space XY demo first

The free demo runs the same game with virtual credits. Use it to learn the dual bet panel, test auto cash out at 1.2x, 1.5x and 2x, and feel what a $120 drawdown looks like before it’s real money. Head to the Space XY review and free demo and run at least 50 rounds with the exact setup you plan to use. If a strategy stresses you out in demo mode, it will feel worse with cash on the line.

Where to play Space XY for real money

Real-money play is for adults 18+ only, and only where online gambling is legal for you. Pick a licensed site with fast withdrawals and a clear game lobby. Most of the crash casinos we rate accept Visa and Mastercard, and many also take crypto such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH) and Tether (USDT). Check each site’s cashier for the exact options.

Ready to launch? Read our Stake review or 1xBet review to choose your site, then search the lobby for Space XY and lock in your settings. Crypto fans can also compare our Shuffle review and Gamdom review, or browse the full list of best crash gambling sites.

Whatever site you choose, the plan stays the same. Use flat stakes, keep auto cash out low, set your limits first and walk away when you reach them. That’s how you win Space XY more often, without pretending the 97% RTP isn’t there.

What is the best Space XY strategy?

For steady sessions, flat betting with auto cash out at 1.5x is the sweet spot. It hits 64.67% of the time and went bust in 0.0% of 5,000 simulated sessions. The 1.2x grind is even calmer, and 2x gives bigger wins with wider swings.
