To win Crash X more often, set a low auto cash out between 1.2x and 2x, flat bet a small slice of your bankroll and walk away at a fixed profit or loss. At 1.5x you hit 64% of rounds; at 2x, 48%. No strategy changes the 96% RTP. Good settings change your hit rate, your swings and how long your session lasts.
That’s the short version. Below you get the real odds for every target, five tested setups backed by $500 simulations, the exact auto settings to use and the traps that drain balances fast. Want the wider picture across every title? Our guide to tested crash game strategies compared is the place to start. For a full look at the game itself, read the Crash X review and free demo.
How Crash X works
Crash X is a crash game from Turbo Games. Every round, a multiplier starts at 1x and climbs until it crashes at a random point. Cash out before the crash and your bet pays at the multiplier on screen. Hold too long and the stake is gone. Simple rules, fast rounds, real decisions.
| Spec | Crash X |
|---|---|
| Provider | Turbo Games |
| RTP | 96% |
| Max multiplier | 999,999x |
| Provably fair | Yes |
| Features | Auto bet, auto cash out |
What the 96% RTP means for you
RTP is the long-run return. Over a huge number of bets, about $96 of every $100 wagered comes back to players. That 4% house edge applies whatever target you pick, which is why our flat simulations at 1.2x, 1.5x and 2x all landed on the same median finish of $460 from a $500 start. Strategy shapes the ride, not the edge. The full breakdown is in crash game RTP and house edge explained.
Provably fair, so nobody can predict it
Crash X is provably fair. The crash point is locked in before the round starts and you can verify the result afterwards. See how it works in provably fair explained, or check a round yourself with our provably fair hash verifier.
Auto bet and auto cash out
These two features are your best friends. Auto cash out collects your bet at the exact multiplier you set, so you never freeze or get greedy. Auto bet repeats your stake round after round. Together they turn a plan into discipline.
Our 10-million-round crash study played 13 strategies through the same 10 million rounds: a 1.20x auto cash out almost never went bust (0%), a 10x target finished in profit in 33.6% of sessions, and every approach paid back about 97% of what it wagered.
Crash X win chances by target
With a 96% RTP, the chance of reaching any target is 0.96 divided by that target. Here’s what that looks like on a $10 bet:
| Auto cash out | Hit chance | $10 bet returns | Risk |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1.2x | 80.00% | $12.00 | Low |
| 1.5x | 64.00% | $15.00 | Low |
| 2x | 48.00% | $20.00 | Medium |
| 3x | 32.00% | $30.00 | Medium |
| 5x | 19.20% | $50.00 | High |
| 10x | 9.60% | $100.00 | High |
| 50x | 1.92% | $500.00 | Very high |
| 100x | 0.96% | $1,000.00 | Very high |
Read it like a menu. Low targets win most rounds but pay small. High targets pay big but miss almost every time: 100x lands in under 1% of rounds. Neither end is better on paper, because the edge is the same. The right pick depends on how much swing your bankroll can take.

Best Crash X strategies
Every setup below was simulated with a $500 balance, a $10 base bet, 100 rounds per session and 5,000 sessions at 96% RTP. Here’s the scoreboard first:
| Strategy | Median finish | Worst 10% | Best 10% | Ran out of money | Median max drawdown |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1.2x grind (flat) | $460 | ≤ $400 | ≥ $520 | 0.0% | $70 |
| Flat 1.5x | $460 | ≤ $370 | ≥ $550 | 0.0% | $95 |
| Flat 2x | $460 | ≤ $340 | ≥ $580 | 0.0% | $130 |
| Paroli at 2x (reset after 3 wins) | $430 | ≤ $190 | ≥ $690 | 1.4% | $240 |
| 10x hunt (flat) | $400 | ≤ $100 | ≥ $800 | 9.4% | $320 |
| Fibonacci at 2x | $610 | ≤ $0 | ≥ $730 | 33.6% | $330 |
| D’Alembert at 2x | $0 | ≤ $0 | ≥ $1,000 | 50.8% | $540 |
| Martingale at 2x | $0 | ≤ $0 | ≥ $1,020 | 51.2% | $540 |
The top five are the ones worth using. The bottom three are covered in the mistakes section.
1. The 1.2x grind: lowest risk
Settings: auto cash out 1.2x, flat $10, auto bet on.
Worked example: you bet $10 and collect $12 in 80% of rounds, a $2 profit each time. A miss costs the full $10, so one loss wipes out five wins. That’s the trade-off.
Results: the tightest range on the board. Worst 10% finished at $400 or less, best 10% at $520 or more, and the median drawdown was just $70. Zero sessions went broke.
Use it when: you want long, calm sessions, you’re clearing a bonus, or you’re new. More on this style in our low-risk crash strategy guide.
2. Flat 1.5x: the sweet spot
Settings: auto cash out 1.5x, flat $10.
Worked example: a win returns $15, a $5 profit, and it lands 64% of the time. Two wins cover one loss.
Results: median $460, best 10% at $550 or more, worst 10% at $370 or less, median drawdown $95, no busts. You get noticeably more upside than 1.2x for only a little more swing.
Use it when: you want a balance of hit rate and payout. This is our default Crash X strategy. See how the fixed targets stack up in 1.20x, 1.50x and 2x compared.
3. Flat 2x: double up
Settings: auto cash out 2x, flat $10.
Worked example: a win returns $20, a $10 profit. It hits 48% of rounds, so it’s close to a coin flip with a small edge against you.
Results: best 10% reached $580 or more, worst 10% fell to $340 or less, median drawdown $130. Still no busts at a flat $10.
Use it when: you can handle losing streaks without changing your stake. Flat stakes are the reason this stays safe, as our flat betting strategy test shows.
4. Paroli at 2x: ride the hot streak
Settings: auto cash out 2x, start at $10, double after each win, reset to $10 after three wins in a row or after any loss.
Worked example: bet $10, win $20. Bet $20, win $40. Bet $40, win $80. Reset. That run turns a $10 stake into $80, a $70 profit. Lose at any step and you’re only down the original $10, because the bigger bets are made with winnings.
Results: median $430, but the best 10% hit $690 or more, the biggest upside of any low-bust setup. Only 1.4% of sessions ran out of money. Median drawdown: $240.
Use it when: you want a shot at a big session and accept deeper dips. Full rules in Anti-Martingale (Paroli) for crash games.
5. The 10x hunt: small stakes, big swings
Settings: auto cash out 10x, flat $10.
Worked example: one hit returns $100, a $90 profit. But it lands in only 9.60% of rounds, so long dry spells are normal.
Results: best 10% reached $800 or more, but worst 10% sank to $100 or less and 9.4% of sessions went broke. Median drawdown: $320.
Use it when: you’re playing with a small, fun-money slice and want excitement. Read the real odds of 10x, 50x and 100x before you commit.
Best Crash X settings
Auto cash out
Set it before every session and don’t touch it mid-run. 1.5x is the all-rounder. 1.2x if you want the smoothest ride, 2x if you want bigger hits. Manual cashing invites panic and greed, and the auto button beats both.
Auto bet
Use a flat stake and a fixed number of rounds, like 100. Avoid any increase-on-loss option: that’s Martingale in disguise. If you run Paroli, increase on win only and reset after three wins. Our auto-bet and auto-cashout settings guide walks through each field.
Stake size
All our tests used $10 on $500, which is 2% of the bankroll per round. That ratio is why the flat setups never went broke. Bet 10% per round and the same swings become session-enders. More in bankroll management for crash games.
Stop loss and take profit
Pick both numbers before you start. For a $500 session at 1.5x, stopping at down $100 or up $100 is a sensible frame. Hit either, and you’re done. The how and why are in stop loss and take profit in crash games.
Pro tip: When you hit your take profit, withdraw the profit right away. Money that stays in your balance tends to get played back.
How to play Crash X step by step
- Try the demo. Play a few dozen free rounds to learn the timing and the auto controls.
- Set your session bankroll. Decide what you can afford to lose today, for example $500.
- Pick your stake. Around 2% of the bankroll, such as $10 on $500.
- Choose a target. Use the table: 1.2x for 80%, 1.5x for 64%, 2x for 48%.
- Turn on auto cash out. Enter your target so every bet is collected automatically.
- Turn on auto bet. Flat stake, fixed round count, for example 100 rounds.
- Set stop loss and take profit. For example, stop at down $100 or up $100.
- Review and stop. When a limit hits or the rounds run out, stop, check your results and cash out.
Mistakes to avoid
Doubling after losses
Martingale at 2x busted 51.2% of sessions with a median finish of $0. D’Alembert, the gentler cousin, was no better at 50.8% busted. Raising stakes to chase losses only raises the size of the eventual crash. See the full test in the Martingale strategy for crash games.
Trusting Fibonacci’s pretty median
Fibonacci at 2x shows a median finish of $610, which looks great. The catch: 33.6% of sessions ran out of money and the worst 10% finished at $0. One session in three going broke isn’t a strategy, it’s a gamble on the gamble. Details in D’Alembert and Fibonacci in crash games.
Buying predictors, signals or hacks
Crash X is provably fair, so the crash point can’t be read in advance. Predictor apps, Telegram signals and hack tools are scams built to take your deposit or your login details. We break down the common ones in predictor apps and signals debunked and crash game hacks and bots: scams to avoid.
Reading the round history
A run of low crashes doesn’t make a high one due. Each round is independent, and the odds in the table are the same every single time. Patterns in the history bar are noise.
Chasing the 999,999x
The max multiplier is a headline, not a target. Even 100x lands in just 0.96% of rounds. If you want a shot at big numbers, keep it to a tiny side stake and never raise it to catch up.
