The D’Alembert strategy raises your bet by one unit after a loss and lowers it by one unit after a win. In Aviator you pair it with auto cash out at 2x, close to even money. It’s the gentle cousin of Martingale: stakes climb step by step instead of doubling. That makes winning streaks pay nicely as you step back down, but a long cold run still pushes the stake up, so a cap is your best friend. It’s one of the systems in our Aviator game tricks toolbox.
D’Alembert in rupees
With ₹100 units at 2x:
| Round | Result | Stake | Balance change |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Loss | ₹100 | −₹100 |
| 2 | Loss | ₹200 | −₹200 |
| 3 | Win | ₹300 | +₹300 |
| 4 | Win | ₹200 | +₹200 |
| 5 | Next | ₹100 |
Two losses, two wins: you’re up ₹200.
What the simulator says
1,000 sessions, 100 rounds, ₹100 units from ₹5,000 at 2x and 97% RTP: median ₹3,100, best 10% above ₹10,100, and 44.9% of sessions ran the budget out before round 100. The upside is real, and so is the slide when losses outnumber wins. Compare in d’alembert vs martingale.
Pro moves for D’Alembert
- Cap the stake at 5 units. When you hit the cap, reset to one unit.
- Smaller units: use 1% of budget (₹50 from ₹5,000) for twice the runway.
- Win target: stop at +25%.

Frequently asked questions
What is the D'Alembert strategy?
A gentle progression: raise your bet by one unit after a loss, lower it by one unit after a win, never below one unit.
Does D'Alembert work in Aviator?
It shapes your sessions. In our simulator at 2x it produced big winning sessions and also many that ran the budget out. It doesn't change the 97% RTP.
What target suits D'Alembert?
2x, because the system assumes roughly even-money bets.
How do I make D'Alembert safer?
Cap the stake (for example at 5 units) and use a smaller unit, like 1% of budget.
D'Alembert or Martingale?
D'Alembert climbs one unit at a time instead of doubling, so stakes grow far more slowly.
